Concrete Batchers Wanted! Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Experienced Concrete Batchers | Multiple Brisbane Sites | $37.50–$42/hr + OT

We are seeking experienced and versatile Concrete Batchers for immediate opportunities at our Kingston and Cleveland plants, with further roles available across Brisbane. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity for high-performers looking to secure a long-term career with a stable, growing team.

This isn’t just a "sit-in-the-office" role. We need all-rounders who can manage the technical side of the plant while staying hands-on in the yard.

Your New Role

You will be the heartbeat of the plant, responsible for everything from the first customer call to the final load leaving the gate. Your duties will include:

• Batching & Technical: Precision batching of concrete to spec using plant software.

• Scheduling & Allocation: Handling phones, managing customer orders, and coordinating truck movements for maximum efficiency.

• Customer Service: Providing expert advice and professional service to contractors and DIY customers.

• Yard Operations: Getting out of the office to operate the Front End Loader (loading bins), Forklift operation, and general plant maintenance/labouring.

The Details

• Pay Rate: $37.50 – $42.00 per hour + Overtime.

• Hours: Early starts (4:00 AM – 7:00 AM). Expect 10-hour days as the standard.

• Saturdays: Weekend work is available and expected to keep up with demand.

• Location: Primarily Kingston and Cleveland, but flexibility to work across multiple Brisbane plants is highly regarded.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: You must have previous experience batching concrete (familiarity with Command Alkon or similar software is a plus).

• Tickets: Current Front End Loader (LL) and Forklift (LF) tickets are essential.

• Tech Savvy: Ability to multitask between phones and computer dispatch systems under pressure.

• Reliability: You are the first one there to open the plant; punctuality is non-negotiable.

• Transport: Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
